Take courses in a studio environment
This 12-month graduate program provides a studio-based and student-centric program where you can learn from day one. The curriculum is focused on preparation, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.
A specific track of courses support the innovation and venture development process:
- Discovery + insight: As the program kicks off, you will discuss the tools needed to explore and immerse yourself in projects.
- Problem reframing: Once you have established a foundation, you will learn problem reframing and diagnosing, and push past assumptions to see problems as opportunities.
- Explore, fail, and solve: The third course gives insight into developing prototypes of products, services, and systems in 3 two-week sprint.
- Business model: Students will understand how to effectively articulate solutions to customers, speak on profit, value propositions, and more.
- Scale: Discover how to assess growth opportunities and prepare financial statements in order to explore products and scale implications, quality control, risk mitigation strategies, and investor pitches.
During the program, two additional courses will help you grow as a leader: Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Leadership and Scaling Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Learn how to develop your own venture
By the time you graduate, you will learn about the development process, hone your leadership skills, and leave with experience founding and scaling your own venture. Keep in mind that “real world” experience in venture development isn’t required - just an enthusiasm for learning more about the innovation process. Prospective students should have undergraduate degrees related to engineering, social science, business, technology, sustainability, and other related fields. Visit our website to learn more.
