W. P. Carey offering resources and support to alumni in transition
As part of the W. P. Carey School of Business’ lifelong commitment to alumni, the school is responding to recent layoffs with specialized resources to support impacted graduates.
Sometimes, career changes can be intentional steps along a path with a clear goal in mind. Other times, job transitions can mean uncertainty, and it can feel as though well-laid plans have been derailed. Unexpected job loss, like those in a recent stream of layoffs, can be difficult to process emotionally and practically. As part of the W. P. Carey School of Business’ lifelong commitment to alumni, the school is responding to recent layoffs with specialized resources to support impacted graduates.
"At W. P. Carey, we are committed to being a place Where Business is Personal. Reaching out to alumni, making sure they know we are there for them in good times and bad, is an expression of that identity," said Ohad Kadan, Charles J. Robel Dean and W. P. Carey Distinguished Professor in Business.
