[Hitendra Chaturvedi] had a business that sold all kinds of returns, and remembers the chaos of it all. He'd buy clothes in bulk for 10 cents on the dollar, most of which he couldn't resell, and try to make his money on the 15% to 20% that he could. Some 70% to 80% of fast fashion went to landfills, according to his numbers.
