Alumni profile

From New Delhi to Mesa, Arizona, from his father's garment import shop to a multibillion-dollar Wall Street hedge fund, the W. P. Carey alumnus has always moved easily between different worlds. The 42-year-old finds himself back on the Sun Devil 100 list for the second year running.

Sun Devil 100 celebrates the achievements of Arizona State University alumni who own or lead successful, innovative businesses across the globe. The Class of 2018 includes 42 W. P. Carey graduates. Meet three of them.

The highly ranked, established program helped him be on the forefront of Big Data and steal a senior marketing analyst position at the American internet retailer.

A scholarship fund honoring the late Robert K. Wexler (BS Accountancy '84) will take a W. P. Carey student all the way to Prague this year, thanks to the generosity of Wexler’s fraternity brothers. Jeff Barnes and Brian Amster joined Robert’s sister Beth Wexler in presenting a $2,500 check, on behalf of Mike Rosenthal (BS Economics '82, MBA '84) and other Sigma Nu alumni involved in the fundraiser.

One navigates corporate responsibility in the office; the other champions sustainability in retirement. Both W. P. Carey alums share their business experiences.
