Since the Great Recession, there has been a change in hiring patterns for many companies and industries. While a bachelor's degree used to be the standard, many fields — from finance to IT to supply chain management — now consider candidates with specialized master's degrees over and above those with just an undergraduate diploma.

Although the hiring market for MBA graduates has improved over the past several years to pre-recession levels, the outlook is stronger than it has been since before the recession, according to the GMAC Corporate Recruiters Survey.

Using data collected about bikes stolen on campus, students in the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MS-BA) program created a map for ASU Police showing where to patrol — on what days and what specific times — to prevent thefts.
