Your tight-Knit W. P. Carey community
There are different kinds of business schools. Some foster a more competitive environment; the thinking is that it prepares you for the rough-and-tumble real world. There are some that have massive lecture courses with hundreds of students. There are b-schools that seem to believe just having their name attached to your LinkedIn profile is benefit enough. But that's not how we do things at the W. P. Carey School.

There are some that have massive lecture courses with hundreds of students. There are b-schools that seem to believe just having their name attached to your LinkedIn profile is benefit enough. But that's not how we do things at the W. P. Carey School.
We really do believe that the community you're a part of here brings with it an incredible amount of value. It will help you grow while you're a student, and it will serve as a lifelong network when you graduate. We're here to support you through the admissions process, as you get acclimated to new programs, and as you work on building your strengths and developing your future prospects with the Career Services team.
Despite being one of the largest business schools in the country, we keep class sizes small. Smaller classes mean more interaction, both with your fellow students and with faculty members. And outside of class, you're surrounded by the amount and variety of resources you could only get from America's largest university. In this video, W. P. Carey graduate Vivek Kopparthi describes the resources and the community that helped him launch NeoLight Inc., which has created an affordable technology to test for jaundice in newborns in third-world nations. And as other students we spoke to confirmed, the tight-knit community has helped them find their own paths, as well.
