As one of the top business schools in the nation, the W. P. Carey School is already a great place to learn — made even better by the many creative, leadership, professional, and entrepreneurial opportunities available to you as an ASU business student.
As one of the top business schools in the nation, the W. P. Carey School is already a great place to learn — made even better by the many creative, leadership, professional, and entrepreneurial opportunities available to you as an ASU business student.
The W. P. Carey School gives you the tools and resources you need to turn your ideas into reality, which has encouraged many students — including Ashley Condo, Ryan Johnson, Kean Thomas, and Krista Moller — to create new clubs and organizations on campus.
AdWorks pushes the boundaries of advertising.
W. P. Carey student Ashley Condo is the founder and current president of AdWorks, a fully functioning, student-run marketing agency. The AdWorks team specializes in deliverables in print, social media, branding, and planning strategy for businesses, nonprofits, and startups. Ashley says their philosophy for work is simple: "We are students. We are forward thinkers. We take risks. Through self-discovery and exploration, our talents push the boundaries of advertising."
It's a philosophy that's led AdWorks to great things as of late. The organization recently became a nonprofit, and was approved as a class for course credit starting this upcoming semester.
Explore W. P. Carey gives high schoolers a preview of college.
Launched by business students Ryan Johnson, Kean Thomas, and Krista Moller, the Explore W. P. Carey shadowing program started as the trio's honors thesis project. According to Ryan, "it allows local high school students to get a sense of what life is really like as a college student."
For high schoolers, it's an opportunity to spend the afternoon on campus and see what real classes are like. And for current business students, it's an opportunity to give future Sun Devils an awesome preview of college, while also gaining leadership experience.
Now turn your ideas into reality.
Between Camp Carey, intramural sports, study abroad, and 1,000+ ASU clubs and organizations, there are plenty of ways to learn, grow, and thrive at the W. P. Carey School of Business.
