I chose ASU because of three important reasons. Firstly, ASU has a very prestigious business school. This will help me get the best out of my college education and succeed in college. Secondly, ASU offers tons of different opportunities outside of class. This can help me build my resume and develop my leadership, communication, and networking skills. Thirdly, ASU has more students than most American universities (a key factor for an international student like me). This diverse environment can help me make more friends on campus as well as develop lifelong relationships with my professors and classmates.

A top business school

After deciding to major in business, I started to search online for good business schools. The W. P. Carey School of Business has been ranked Top 30 by U.S. News & World Report since 1995. There are more than 30 business degrees to choose from, with majors like supply chain management, marketing, accounting, finance, and more. It has a large faculty and student body at both the undergraduate and graduate level. And it has a worldwide reputation for producing tomorrow's business leaders.

As an accounting student, I want to utilize the best resources on campus. I want to take good business classes taught by knowledgeable, funny professors. I want to meet more and more business students who share the same interests with me. I want to have access to the best equipment, facilities, and resources on campus. Being in W. P. Carey can help me reach my goals. Thus, I will have better academic performance and succeed in college.

Many opportunities beyond the classroom

ASU offers tons of different opportunities outside of the classroom. There are a lot of clubs and organizations within ASU — especially within the W. P. Carey School of Business. There are a lot of business clubs and organization related to different majors, including the Financial Management Association, Supply Chain Management Association, Investment Banking Industry Scholars, and more. You can search all of the organizations at ASU based on your personal interests, such as technology, culture, health, and so on.

Besides student clubs and organizations, both ASU and the W. P. Carey School offer a lot of career opportunities. W. P. Carey students have access to exclusive, business-only career fairs, in addition to career fairs specific to your major, and university-wide career fairs open to students across ASU. W. P. Carey Career Services provides a range of resources to help you land an internship or job, including resume critiques, mock interviews, and more. Every business student can even have their own career coach!

A large, diverse university

ASU is one of the largest universities in the U.S., with tens of thousands of students across four campuses. Being a Sun Devil gives me a good chance to meet more people and make more friends on campus. It is also a diverse environment, with many international students from countries all over the world. I am very willing to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new cultures and new languages here. Thus, ASU gives me perfect opportunities to meet people from different countries.

Choosing ASU was the best decision of my life because being an ASU student helps me get more knowledge, reach more resources, and meet more people. I can maximize my potential at ASU!
