W. P. Carey School secures a Top 25 spot in national rankings
Tempe, AZ (Sept. 12, 2017) — U.S. News & World Report just released its highly anticipated annual rankings for undergraduate business schools, and once again the W. P. Carey School of Business has made the prestigious Top 30 best business programs list — improving three spots from last year, ranking No. 24.
“Each year, we look for ways to improve our programs — for our students and for companies looking to hire our graduates — and the U.S. News rankings are a great barometer of where we are,” said Amy Hillman, dean of the W. P. Carey School and the Rusty Lyon Chair in Strategy. “This is the first time our full-time MBA and undergraduate programs were both ranked Top 25 at the same time, so to join that elite company of top-tier schools is really gratifying.”
In addition to ranking No. 24 overall for 2018, several departments within the W. P. Carey School of business continue to be ranked among the best in their fields for undergraduate programs.
The school’s prestigious supply chain management program improved one spot to No. 4, while management and management information systems were both ranked Top 20, at No. 17 and No. 18, respectively.
The school also ranked 22nd for international business, 25th for marketing, and 36th for accounting.
