Austin bombing highlights threats with package deliveries, though risk is slight

A string of explosives that killed two peple and wounded five in Austin had Texas residents feeling anxious and authorities warning them to stay away from any suspicious parcels. But a professor of supply chain management says it's a comparitively small risk to the amount of deliveries made, and carriers have solid safety measure in place.

The U.S. supply chain is the safest in the world, according to Dale Rogers, professor of supply chain management.
