W. P. Carey offers new Global Healthcare Professional Program in India

In a visionary move addressing the pressing needs of the rapidly evolving health care industry, the ASU W. P. Carey School of Business announced a new partnership with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore to introduce the Global Healthcare Professional Programme (GHPP).

This pioneering initiative aims to transform health care management and equip professionals with the essential skills to navigate the complexities of the modern health care landscape.

Learners will engage with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the ever-changing global health care landscape of the present day, particularly in the following areas:

  • Economics of healthcare
  • Healthcare operations and supply chain
  • Healthcare informatics and Al
  • Healthcare systems
  • Marketing and finance for healthcare
  • Strategy and entrepreneurship in healthcare
  • Leadership and Communication

The hybrid certificate program will be delivered over eight months at the IIM Indore campus in India, on W. P. Carey’s Tempe campus, and online. ASU's Learning Enterprise advances universal access to learning at all life stages, tapping into ASU’s wealth of knowledge to offer learning experiences that are technology-enabled and impact-driven. The inaugural Global Healthcare Professional class will kick off in late spring 2024.

Our goal is to help learners tackle the greatest challenges and thrive in a dynamic health care landscape."

The GHPP is an executive program created for doctors, health care professionals, clinical leaders, health system executives, public health officials, and health policy experts.

"As we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are all embracing the call for greater health care resilience and creative approaches to meeting changing global needs. The GHPP will enable graduates to meet those challenges."
