Deloitte chairman describes culture of exceptionalism
Deloitte Chairman Punit Renjen, who helped drive Deloitte’s exceptional performance through the recession, describes the firm’s culture at the Economic Club of Phoenix Luncheon on Feb. 13, 2014.
Punit Renjen is chairman of Deloitte LLP. Named CEO of Deloitte’s consulting business in 2009, Renjen helped lead the firm’s exceptional performance through one of the worst recessions in recent history. In this speech before the Economic Club of Phoenix, Renjen described what differentiates the firm: its culture. Renjen said Deloitte’s 200,000 practitioners across the world can articulate the reasons the firm exists: to serve its audit clients with integrity and distinction while creating trust in the marketplace; to create impact for consulting clients; to develop accomplished practitioners through mentorship; and to uphold the standards of the profession so that others will follow.
