W. P. Carey entrepreneurship expert Sidnee Peck discusses job growth in the startup sector of the Arizona economy.

“New numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau show in 2013, 2.3 percent of the jobs created in Arizona were at (startup) companies. Other western states were also among the national leaders that year. Sidnee Peck, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, explained the ranking.
