
Cactus League is big business for EV cities
With spring training around the corner, East Vally cities look forward to another year of financial growth.
Collecting more sales tax revenue in 2018, up from more than a million dollars in 2017, East Valley cities hope to benefit more from fan-based revenue this year.

A 2018 study from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business indicated that the Cactus League generated a total economic output of $644.2 million for the state of Arizona, an 11 percent increase from the output estimated by a study in 2015.
