To meet its growing demand for business analysts, Cognizant Consulting has partnered with ASU, ranked the nation’s most innovative university four years in a row by U.S. News & World Report, and the W. P. Carey School of Business to offer the Cognizant Digital Business Analyst Certificate Program.
The unique no-cost, no credit certificate can be completed in under three months, with learning modules delivered 100% online. Residential sessions are also required and include an end-of-program interview with Cognizant for open business analyst roles with the company.
Launched in March 2019, the initial program cohort was so successful that Cognizant has decided to specifically target a key region of growth for the October 2019 program. Prioritizing students in the New York tri-state area and Mid-Atlantic region, the program is a perfect fit for students looking to strengthen their skills, change careers, and who live in proximity to New York City, where the two residential sessions will be held.
"Collaborations like this are one of the reasons ASU has been ranked the most innovative university in America by U.S. News & World Report the past four years," says Amy Hillman, dean of the W. P. Carey School. "ASU and the W. P. Carey School are constantly engaging corporate partners to better align what students learn with the skills and expertise the marketplace and employers are looking for. This program is just a natural extension of that thinking, and as it becomes successful and scalable, I would expect other companies to follow Cognizant's lead and approach ASU about solutions for their organizations.”
The unique nature of the program includes a no-cost guarantee for those who complete the program: A $500 placeholder fee is required to begin the program, but it is refunded in full following completion of required materials and acceptance of a business analyst interview with Cognizant. This train-to-hire program allows you not only to directly interact with respected W. P. Carey faculty and practice leaders from Cognizant, it also provides you an opportunity to learn valuable skills for a sector — and a company — that is growing at a higher-than-average rate compared to other fields.
