A strike at General Motors is hitting its suppliers hard

Discussions with labor unions came to a halt.

Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Dale Rogers grew up near Detroit and has family working at GM. He recalls that for every employee at a large automaker and affected by a strike, 10 workers at suppliers in nearby cities would feel the effect.
