PayPal pilots quarterly call on more than financial results
Companies are experimenting with a different kind of quarterly call that goes beyond financial results to cover corporate responsibility.
Worker pay and community assistance haven't been on the agenda for companies' quarterly calls with investors. But a group of nearly 200 leading CEOs recently released a statement suggesting the purpose of the corporation should expand to include workers and other stakeholders. The updated quarterly calls could demonstrate companies are implementing that plan.
