Super Bowl LVII added $726 million to Arizona's GDP, report shows
ASU expert says events surrounding the Super Bowl account for 28% of the event's total economic impact.

The figure you have to focus on is the contributions to state GDP [gross domestic product]. That is the bottom line. That is exactly what is happening here to the state economy — $726 million. I think you'll struggle to find any other event, over a four- or five-day period, that could generate that much for the state itself. Almost one in four of every visitor we surveyed [said they were] going to other parts of the state to spend money as well. We haven't taken into account that money, but that money is coming into the state.
