
ASU forecasters: Arizona's economy is in 'good shape' as Trump policy changes await
A W. P. Carey economics expert discussed industry expansion, employment, and housing in Arizona during the 61st annual Economic Forecast Luncheon.

Dennis Hoffman, another ASU economics professor, said he was encouraged by employment gains in the state and a growing population here, with many newcomers attracted by expanding industries, especially in technology and regional distribution. Arizona also could benefit from more onshoring of manufacturing from foreign suppliers, he said, such as the expansion of the region's semiconductor industry.
