The Economic Minute: This recovery will be different
Each month at the Economic Club of Phoenix luncheon, a W. P. Carey School of Business expert analyzes economic conditions in Arizona and in the nation. On February 17, Dean Robert Mittelstaedt reminded his audience that this recovery is different. Even though it will be three years before employment returns to pre-recession levels, and even though some indicators of improvement seem to be little more than optical illusions, we are still doing pretty well … all things considered.
