
ASU economist discusses the impact of inflation in the state
If you’ve been to the grocery store lately, you’ve probably noticed the increase in food prices. New research shows that prices of meat, seafood, produce, cereal, and other foods shot up 9% in 2021. Consumers have been experiencing sticker shock at checkout, and we wanted to find out if there was any relief in sight.
Inflation is becoming an increasing concern as prices for gas, food, and other goods are up significantly over a year ago. Arizona PBS discussed the impact of the inflation of prices with ASU economist Dennis Hoffman.
